Very good crunch and nice taste. I don’t really swallow any chalks. Maybe a little every now and then. Overall, I chew and after it becomes a nice paste I spit it out. I heard that chalk due to being so dry will cause constipation and since I already have chronic constipation I’m not taking the risk of worsening my existing condition. TMI but Hemorrhoids and anal fissures (imagine cuts and tears down below) are awful please take care of your body and never get to this point. Constipation is horrible so do avoid swallowing chalk. Also some people say it may give kidney stones. I’ve never had one but from what I’ve heard this is super painful ? Unless your body is used to chalk since you’ve swallowed edible chalks and clays growing up with zero side effects please don’t swallow.Back to this chalk review:The price is the best one of all available for 6 pieces. It has a slight Rosie or nice detergent like smell the first day which is what most of these types of edible chalks are like. It has no flavor which is great just the Rosie detergent smell (almost all of the edible chalks smell like this but the smell of the other chalks I bought fade after a few days. This one doesn’t fade but for me that may be because I kept it in the bag. It’s not bad at all, I actually like it).My pica is going away since I am now on multivitamins so after a few days the cravings for this were going away. I Still like the nice crunch but if you take vitamins like me before finishing this and your pica is due to vitamin deficiency your body will start rejecting all chalks or ice, etc. It was nice while it lasted :)
