I’m using these bags for various household trash items but mostly garbage. They’re much stronger than I thought they’d be and the price was more than reasonable. They’re a better grade than what one might think as “produce” bags you might get at the grocery store. Very pleased with this purchase.They’re great for quick leftovers to be put away. Here are a few: This purchase has enabled us to avoid buying the expensive zip bags from the grocery store. So far, I haven't had one bag leak yet when storing veges, etc.We buy meat and vegetables in bulk to freeze and use these to double seal the packages before we put them in our freezer. They really help prevent freezer burn.I use these to proof my bread dough. The bags fit perfectly over the loaf pans sort of like a balloon when enclosed quickly while the air is still inside of the bag. Sealed with a twist tie. The air does not leak out during the proofing.I also use them to store my bread and enclose a moisture packet (we live in the Virginia mountains), and it is similar to a rain forest in the summer. These plastic bags help maintain the freshness and preserve the bread longer, and even better than cotton bread bags for us.Excellent value and quality product...will definitely purchase again.These bags tear really easy. You get enough for your money that you can use several on each loaf, but you should not have to. These are not good bags. My beef is that they come on a hard to store roll instead of laying flat.I bought these because the stores quit selling bread bags in my area. We use them for storing and freezing homemade bread as well as medical use. They are thicker than the store brands were so they work better for freezing bread. Because they are thicker you are less likely to puncture the bag with fingernails or other objects. I highly recommend them.They were the right size for my loaves of bread maker bread. I thought they might be more heavy duty but have done the job I got them for at a fair price.These bags are great! They are quite large which is nice because sometimes I make big loafs of bread. It is super handy to have plastic bread bags around the house for when I bake. It is also really nice to have for when I give out bread to my friends. They are good quality and typically reuse the bag for three loads of bread before I dispose of them. The roll makes it easy to store in a drawer and grab a bag quick. I recommend these to anyone who needs a bag to store bread, they are better then reusable ones that need to be cleaned and don’t seal well!When I first received these, I was disappointed (but I changed my mind...please read on): they are unglamorous, plain looking and the plastic is not crystal clear.However, I have now concluded that they good value for money. They come in nonsense packaging, no extras which just end up in the trash can but which raise the price. Comparing them to supermarket produce bags does not do them justice: they are larger and much, much stronger. It does not bother me in the least that they are not clear, just as supermarket bags don't bother me. Would I pay more for totally clear bags? Certainly not. One can easily see what's inside, and that's good enough for me.These bags are advertised as clear bags for produce, but as soon as you open them they are no longer clear. They are really thin and go cloudy as soon as you touch them - like the cheap bags you get in the produce section of the grocery store. I bought these to package and display products at the farmers market, but they don't work for that as once you touch them you can't see through the plastic. I'm not sure what I can use them for...Despite some of the negative reviews we purchased this role.The size was larger than I thought it would be (which is great). While some reviews say they are thin (of course they aren't as strong as plastic grocery bags we didn't buy it for that) but I would say they are definitely WAY stronger than the clear fruit/vegetable bags that are in grocery stores.While they do go a little cloudy after you touch them to use them, I wouldn't say that is a big deal.Easy to peel from the roll, and great price for the amount it comes with. Overall happy with the purchase.This is not a transparent clear plastic bag where you can see through your items completely, but you can still see items partially like looking through fog. These bags has no holes in them like the one in some grocery stores for vegetables and they don't break easily like those bags. The bags holds up, it does it's job, my only complaint is the transparency.
